Meet Scout and Zoe. Two dogs that are adored by their Mom Cindy. Unfortunately, Scout and Zoe both have allergies and have been unable to enjoy typical dog chews such as rawhide or bones. Cindy was determined to find something her pets could enjoy. She found natural antlers which are “rugged, hard, solid and won’t splinter like bones,” and a company was born! I was given the wonderful opportunity of photographing Scout & Zoe. If you see the Scout & Zoe booth at any of the local pet related events, you will see several of the photos from this shoot on display. These two dogs are TOTAL sweethearts (much like their Mom!) and we had a lot of fun during the shoot on this chilly, fall day. Meet Scout & Zoe:
SCOUT
A.k.a. Scouters, Bucky-bub, Bucky. Scout will be three this June, and is still FULL of puppy energy! I definitely got a lot of exercise during this shoot trying to keep up with this playful boy. Typical for a German Shorthair Pointer, Scout loves to look for squirrels in the trees. I can’t imagine any squirrel trying to make it across the front yard with Scout on duty! After an exhausting day of chasing squirrels, Scout loves to snuggle on the couch with his Mom and Dad.

ZOE
This gentle girl is now 11 years old, and is as sweet as they come. Often called Zo-Zo, Zo-Ze-Q, and Sweetpea U.S.A, this German Shepherd loves to ride in the car, go to work with her Mom, and lay in the sun. Although she is “getting up in years,” you’ll see in the last two photos that she remains young at heart with Scout around!
